I was inspired to create The Queen's Helping Hand after my dad, Geroge T. Harney, passed away on September 16, 2021, from complications with COPD. That day forever changed my life. I had to find a way to go on without him. On the one-year anniversary of his passing, I decided to create an organization that would honor his legacy and giving nature. The Queen's Helping Hand would provide care packages for expecting mothers in the hospital after they deliver. And because my dad was always traveling, I decided to not only provide packages locally but to also send care packages globally!
